Jazz, By: Jordan Eze

January 16, 2024 by Jordan Eze

Jazz, By: Jordan Eze

A smooth symphony enters my ears.
My grin widens again. It is time.
I muster conviction without fear.
To make a bold move, in hopes it’ll be fine.

Sublime, my perception of her is.
Infatuation is the secret word.
The keys that are played are bliss.
My fear is the toot of the wrong chord so

I throw in a red herring.
But The sax is mezzoforte
I keep playing my crescendo.
In hopes she plays me back soon.

For me, Jazz is no just a sound but my jazz is one person that i love.
I hope the strings of my heart can be entwined with such a person.
