Football Fans, By: Chris Maples

October 24, 2024 by Chris Maples

Football Fans, By: Chris Maples

Shouting, screaming
Favourite teaming,
Blokes and kids, faces beaming
The team kick off, in too tight kit
‘He fouled him ref!, blind old git’

The enemy scores, crowd roars
break the laws!

They’re mental!

Invading grassy shores

But.

It’s only a tame, meaningless game
But not for, fans of our club, who
Think
Then drink
Then fart
And drink

Clubhouse bar
No place around
Can match the unbearable sound

Of fat, shout middle aged bloats
In Fila Tops, or cashmere coats

These are the ones who scream and shout
Week in week out, don’t miss out

These are the awful, and too loud
That all make up
Out football crowd
