Faith Slipping On Ice, By: Teri Dourmashkin

November 25, 2024 by Teri Dourmashkin

Faith Slipping On Ice, By: Teri Dourmashkin

Feeling exhausted, I just want to sleep.
Lost in sweet slumber, I don’t feel defeat.
Peace a mirage, lay my eyes on and feast.
Dangling sweet carrots burning my face.
Buried lost years, just want to erase.
Stripped of simplicities, this thing they call life.
I’d sacrifice my all, never think twice.
Swallowing goodness with grace and ease.
This is my treasure; I want to believe.
