Board At The Cheese Party, By: David Browne

May 10, 2024 by David Browne

Board At The Cheese Party, By: David Browne

“Do you come here often?” asked Cheddar
“Because I’ve not been to a party that’s better”
It was one hell of a cheese party.

“I’m keeping myself to myself” grimaced Stilton
“I’m so very tired of always being hit on”
You are never truly safe at a cheese party.

Cottage Cheese looked down her nose at the venue
“It’s so modern and tasteless, doesn’t it offend you?”
There’s always a snob at a cheese party.

“Pleasure of the next dance?” enquired Stinking Bishop
Emmental, in abject horror, just got hiccoughs
Misplaced optimism is the norm at a cheese party.

Emmental – the self professed “life and soul”
Was partly cheese but mostly just hole
Things are not always as they seem at a cheese party.

“Knob, fanny and tits” screamed Bath Blue
The other cheeses didn’t know what to do
There’s always an uncouth oik at a cheese party.

It’s a gate crasher, oh no, it’s cream cheese
You’re not invited and not real, oh God, please
Everyone wants to come to a cheese party

Parmesan was acting all tough
He was a pain but he did look quite buff
There’s always a vain git at a cheese party

Babybel fell to the floor and threw a tantrum
It was obvious to all that she had drank rum
There’s always one; time to end the cheese party.
