Call A Meeting, By: Sinéad Murray

November 30, 2023 by Sinéad Murray

Call A Meeting, By: Sinéad Murray

Call a meeting, I’m drowning
It’s the same meeting I call:
to recognize myself again,
to share the good news, and the bad
I won’t ask for help
but they know and they come
with mugs of tea and stupid jokes
much needed hugs coupled with reassuring smiles
and by the time they leave
my head is above water
and I float again
