Cheezy, By: Vivian Boycott

May 10, 2024 by Vivian Boycott

Cheezy, By: Vivian Boycott

Roses are red
Blue cheese is blue
You are creamy just like fondue
You are the string cheese
That I’d pull if I might
You are American cheddar that I can’t get out of my sight
You are not a Muenster who pushes me away
You are ricotta that I don’t gotta yet
You are parmesan and you are swiss
God you are every type of cheese
that I wouldn’t want to miss

[This is a Featured Poem from our Spring 2024 Poetry Contest.]
