Cry!, By: Sonde Yemi

April 15, 2025 by Sonde Yemi

Cry!, By: Sonde Yemi

Oh cry!.. why?
Cry because the nation is burning
Like wildfire spreading faster than light
Bringing tears from the eyes
Tears that flow like the river nile

Oh cry!.. why?
For the pain of our fallen heroes
For the struggles of our parents
For the hope of a better world
One with peace and happiness

Oh cry!.. why?
So that our voices can be heard
The sounds of our pain can be felt
Maybe someone will come to our aid
Maybe we stand up and make a change

Oh cry!… why?
For a better tomorrow
For our heavenly savior to take charge
Freeing us from this oppression
Giving us back our salvation
