Yellow Warblers
describe
arcs
in the mild
breeze of June.
Circles of
sheer delight
executed in the
sky
with aplomb;
a blue, clear, cloudless
region
of freedom
for the
soaring ones, the happy souls
on wings and fire,
the rolling meadows
far-off birches, pines
and oaks, temporary
terrains
for the visitors
from the heavens.
Watching the acrobats,
a feeling
of
bliss overcomes
the lonely viewer
at
the bus stop, as the
midtown Toronto
rushes by!
