Finale, By: Jordan Eze

January 23, 2024 by Jordan Eze

Finale, By: Jordan Eze

A double bar has finally halted my Jazz.
I am upset with this ignorant lass.
However, i cannot blame them for my pain.
The love hath came and gone like the rain.

The violins soften the play, Harps tune down.
Sax dropping volume. My Jazz has left a frown.
How dare her ! How dare my instruments work.
Against me so. Stinging like a devil’s pitchfork.

The flame has faded from lovely to hellish.
Rejection ! Without her knowing ?! Hellish!!
Tears swell as I sell my very being to words.
These chords I’ve prepared cut at me like a sword.
