Golden Heart, By: Ahmad Cheema

June 28, 2024 by Ahmad Cheema

Golden Heart, By: Ahmad Cheema

One early morning, still dark outside
I looked up onto the pretty sky

Stars shinning, moon so bright
Flakes of cloud dancing by

Birds chirping, leaves shaking
Air so smoothly passing by

Beautiful scene, like a dream
So much to glean for naked eye

Travel to the moon, or through the sky
Nothing’s possible without a morning sigh

Not only giant stars, but this sky
Gets into the dot of human’s eye

Dear children of Adam and Eve
‘Reasoning’ isn’t the only guide

O Ahmad ! a ‘golden heart’
Precious than all the worlds so high
