I See You, By: Steven Mcdonald

April 16, 2025 by Steven Mcdonald

I See You, By: Steven Mcdonald

I see you in the fog
I see you in the grass
I concentrate on me
And then the moment passed

I see you in the waves
As they roll upon the beach
I see you in my friends
You are never out of reach

I see you in the children
When they laugh, run, and play
It comforts me to know
That you will always stay

I hear you in the wind
I see you in the rain
I know you will relieve me
When my world is full of pain

I feel you in a hug
And a firm handshake
I see your awesome power
In the ripples on a lake

During those trying times
When life gives me a burn
I know you’ll help teach me
The lesson to be learned

I only have to ask
And you melt away my fear
I concentrate on you
And life is crystal clear

When your presence leaves me
It doesn’t leave for long
It’s usually when I’m doing
Something that is wrong

You know me oh so well
Every single hair
You are my loving, only god
I see you everywhere!
