Inside My Mind, By: Joel Hernandez

November 2, 2023 by Joel Hernandez

Inside My Mind, By: Joel Hernandez

ALONE I GO AND HIDE. DEEP INSIDE MY MIND. AFRAID I AM, OR AM I NOT..
ANGEL EYES, I CAN’T DECIDE.

I’M LOST IN THIS ABYSS. WITH CUFFS AROUND MY WRIST.
I WISH FOR ONE MORE KISS. FROM THE ONLY ONE I MISS. THREE TIMES I MADE THIS WISH UNDERNEATH THE WANDERING MIST.
EVERYTIME IT WAS A MISS.. MY BROKEN HEART, MY BROKEN FIST.

I CAN’T ESCAPE THIS
FAILING DREAM.
INSIDE THE MIND OF A DYING SEED. IN A CELL I SIT AND BLEED. ANOTHER LOST ONE IN THE DEEP. THESE FOUR WALLS THEY TALK TO THEE. THIS METAL DOOR IT WON’T LET ME BREATHE LOCKED AWAY ANOTHER SENTENCE ENDED ME.
