No More Words, By: Ari Artou

November 18, 2024 by Ari Artou

No More Words, By: Ari Artou

The world crumbles on children’s graves,
The world ended with children slaughter,
The world danced and stomped on children’s bodies.

Nothing will ever be the same again, for there is no hope the powers will want to face their doing.

Against our will they carry on,
Against our will they cover it up,
Against our will they silence it all.
Against our will they bury it all.

Yet…

With our money they kill,
With our money they bomb,
With our money they rape,
With our money will they silence it all,
With our money they bury it all,

With our money they incinerated the last baby and her last squall.

Speechless, I watch and to myself I recite the words once more:

Midway upon the journey of our life / I found myself within a forest dark / For the straightforward pathway had been lost.
