Seriously Will, By: Eli Tevis

November 20, 2024 by Eli Tevis

Seriously Will, By: Eli Tevis

I would imagine all the pressure and scrutiny seemed insurmountable
And as the rumors get louder you feel less and less powerful
Because you tried everything to keep your marriage out the news
When all you really had to do, was hold your wife accountable

It was dope that you would go through so much to impress her,
Til you turned into Buddy love on the nutty professor
On stage attacking comedians like its some wonderful gesture
To get all the way home and realize this woman doesn’t respect you

This is a perfect time to check yourself
Look in the mirror, and accept yourself
You mad at the whole world except yourself
But if your wife is your reflection, you don’t respect yourself

You cant took yourself so seriously, Will
I watched that slap thinking: “seriously Will?”
I saw Tony rock in concert he was furious Will
He said he’s getting that slap back and i think he seriously will

But let’s imagine what if the roles were reversed
And it was Jada who was out here getting exposed and hurt
She ain’t slapping nobody for you, she would’ve trolled you first
And all the people who called you soft are either dead or broke or worse

Think Tupac, or Suge Knight
You’re a prime example of what their lives would look like
When you don’t let a bad moment ruin an otherwise good night

James Avery, would be ashamed of your behavior
See Uncle Phil was like all of our fathers
He probably dreamed of seeing your prosper and winning your first Oscar
Don’t let it make you no monster

And if this is just a role, i think you played the part well,
but truth be told… i liked you better in “shark tale”
