Sibylline, By: WV Sutra

November 8, 2023 by WV Sutra

Sibylline, By: WV Sutra

give them joy of their pleasant lives
and gaze at the sky for particulars
one appears to be already somebody
one who is turning heads with the poetry
some will call him a sassafras boojie
as he enthralls a dance upon their bones

give them joy of their pleasant lives
and gaze at the sky for particulars
one came into a jolly good fantasy
some even said it was worthy of royalty
feels okay to need love irregular
who would starve for a peppercorn soul

give them joy of their pleasant lives
and gaze at the sky for particulars
day upon day in the freeway jamboree
secondhand sage has an alternate apogee
media matrons are gleeful in wine
dragonfly spirits lifted in revelry

give them joy of their pleasant lives
and gaze at the sky for particulars
yonder a woman in red brocade
astride a green horse in the soft parade
the whiskey bar lies open for trade
but perilous too is the velveteen chaise
