The Light That Guides, By: Steven Mcdonald

April 5, 2024 by Steven Mcdonald

The Light That Guides, By: Steven Mcdonald

Wisdom is the light that guides
A path to show us the way
Often times we need others
To hear what they will say

Advice is usually best advised
From those with that experience
The more we ask to those who know
We learn from all that variance

It’s foolish to ask a baker
How would I build a house?
It’s the person who has been there
Whose suggestion I will espouse

Sometimes the best counseling
Comes from an unlikely source
If my mind and ears are closed
I miss the lesson and the course

Wisdom is the light that guides
It’s what will see us through
When our path is no longer dark
We give that light to you
