The Lost, By: Gordon Roberts

November 26, 2025 by Gordon Roberts

The Lost, By: Gordon Roberts

Weep for the generations who gave their all
Innocence lost in evil thrall
Places and bloodlines consigned to the past
To the books and the few who remember

Those lives and their loss
Take a terrible toll
On those who were there to regret
“Not lost in vain” the victorious refrain
Now here we march doomed to repeat
