The seas never sleep
Nor do they weep.
Time does not change them
As they swirl and crash
And send voluptuous waves
Pulverizing rocky shores,
As if to heave volumes of wisdom
To the silent sands and
The implacable land.
The moon light caresses
Their seductive foamy waves.
Sunlight sparkles like endless stars
Upon their blue surface.
The seas never sleep—
They only dream of things
Too wild for understanding!
Yet, from their liquid dream
Life is birthed and miraculously—
In the deepest channels of our beings—
Each of us knows we are the progeny
Of the seas set free to discover
Our purpose in the mysterious flash
Of our existence!
