The World Exposed, By: Neal Grace

December 26, 2023 by Neal Grace

The World Exposed, By: Neal Grace

It pulsates like a strange beast this spinning world, with all its howls of laughter and dripping tears of sorrow.

Strive, strive and show your unencumbered self!

Rip off the masks of society branded into you
by centuries of bizarre demands of docility.
Pray to a new Lord of existence, one who lives
in the catacombs of your gypsy mind!
It haunts you and thrills you, this enchanting world.

Strive, strive and show your unencumbered self!

Snuggle up to the next person who ignores you.
Sing to trees, for they love you!
Throw spears of iridescent lights at the machines of war.
Follow the circuitous way around the monolithic cities that spew fumes into the vulnerable sky.
Let your heart carry you through forests as you
try to find your way home.
Sit in solitude and ponder the imponderable.
Today never ends; it oozes interminably forward, never reaching the crescendo.

Strive, strive and show your unencumbered self!
