Thumb, By: Lauren O Sullivan

December 6, 2024 by Lauren O Sullivan

Thumb, By: Lauren O Sullivan

I was tired of living under your thumb

I got sick of biting my tongue and watching my tone losing weight till I see bone

just so you would touch me when we were alone those days are long gone

singing breakup songs happily finally feeling me it won’t be you who’s seeing me

calling my new man I just call him D he finally sees me and breathes me can’t wait for him to feel me

he knows how to treat me and please me it comes to him easily singing love songs happily

so I won’t be living under your thumb waiting for that loving feeling to come

now that I have it I just remember you as a test run for the real thing hit me over the head like bing

I love exploring the real thing yeah so I sing I’m gonna keep singing cause I’ll never be yours

no more no more biting my tongue or checking my tone

I can see the sun now that I don’t live under your thumb
