When My Heart Has Turned To Dust, By: Leonard Newman

January 6, 2026 by Leonard Newman

When My Heart Has Turned To Dust, By: Leonard Newman

Into the future I’ve blindly blundered

While the past is a wheel that spins in a rut

But I charge on regardless, just like the six hundred

Shell shocked, and bloody from wounds that have cut

You’ve cursed me, you’ve blessed me, I’ve whispered and thundered
But nothing remains when my heart’s turned to dust
