Wild, Never Free, By: Brianna Brown

August 1, 2024 by Brianna Brown

Wild, Never Free, By: Brianna Brown

I love you, it’s true
But, you see, here’s the thing about me:
I am wild. Not “wild and free.”
The kind of wild that the wise are wary of.
The kind that snaps when they feel trapped.
The kind of wild that is beautiful from a distance,
And so very dangerous when you’re in it.
