I smashed my fists on the red, luster walls,
Screaming and wailing.
Through teary eyes I spotted my lover,
Nonchalantly hanging candy canes above.
I desperately yelled, hoping she would hear me,
Or, in any case, see me,
Trapped inside a bauble
