Dublin, By: Milo Nowicki

January 4, 2024 by Milo Nowicki

Dublin, By: Milo Nowicki

You are peeking over my shoulder.
Did I leave something else to be lost?
I checked the menu against overdosing
on hot spices in a rush.

There is less and less air around us and more and more hesitations between words.
Marks of insomnia under my eyes and a static noise as a result of gathering
remains of my dreams into my hands.

Maybe from your side you can see better and I don’t have to explain my evening temptations to be seen hanging over the tracks. Mrs Doctor prescribes a bunch of new pills. After all, I have pockets full of them, but I’m still on a diet.

So jump, jump. And be lighter than the insults at the very least. I don’t need to be brave for this. Lack of such courage
is more than enough.
