A Very Cheesy Poem, By: Melissa Dennison

May 10, 2024 by Melissa Dennison

A Very Cheesy Poem, By: Melissa Dennison

Soft, stretchy or creamy
Any cheese will do, oh
Yes! cheese is simply dreamy,

Cheddar, cheshire or red leicester,
Haloumi, mascarpone, mozzarella, brined and blue
Emmental, edam, babybel, ricotta,
Endlessly shape shifting from block to
String, grated and melt, cheese is de-lish,
Especially when garnished with pickle.

[This is a Featured Poem from our Spring 2024 Poetry Contest.]
