Clouds, By: Robert Bussey

August 7, 2023 by Robert Bussey

Clouds, By: Robert Bussey

A thin, cloudy veil
crosses over.
Keeping out light,
not all.
Making discernment difficult,
confusing.
Decisions difficult.
which one to make
which way to go.
Emotions confusing
the path uncertain
the ground uneven.
Trembling with fear
afraid of wrong
afraid of right.
So many others
straining to see
outside the cloud.
Indecision creating darker clouds.
confusion, anxiety, remorse,
unable to speak or move.
Clouds with rain
the kind that stings,
making you cry.
Clouds of longing
wondering when
or if ever.
Clouds of despair
unable to stand,
unable to reach another.
Clouds fill our lives
daily and hourly –
loneliness comes forth.
