Garden Valley, By: Thomas Hemminger

February 16, 2024 by Thomas Hemminger

Garden Valley, By: Thomas Hemminger

“Rio Grande Valley” is
a strange name for you,
a delta on a plain.

Your history is a treasure;
your pre-history a mystery.

The “Garden of Texas”, you are
a growers’ paradise for
produce, citrus, and free-growing flora.

You are culture-rich,
and full of dreams.

Flowerbed for humanity,
you teem with the timeless tales
of hearts and minds reaching for the stars.

We rejoice in the wealth you harvest,
and we champion your dreams
to the world.
