Heaven, By: K. Exum

April 9, 2024 by K. Exum

Heaven, By: K. Exum

If I can go to heaven for an hour
I would bring some sour power
Pull up on big bro just to talk
I still remember the day we last talked
Felt like a normal night until the morning
You had gone to the magical dispensary in the sky
You didn’t take me with you so I was left with a tear in my eye
took me a while to learn to live on
Still learning but I’m growing my pockets like you would
I no longer wish knowing I could
Some days are harder without your words being a push
But I got a million lessons memorized
I lost a big bro last year
But I pray I never relive that moment again
A different type of pain in losing a best friend
Someone who has your back through thick and thin
Made sure your raw was never thin
Motivated you better than any kin
And always believed in you
I lost my brother last year
But I gained an Angel too
Long Live Big Bro
I’ll keep one lit for you
