Pole, By: Hiram Larew

December 1, 2023 by Hiram Larew

Pole, By: Hiram Larew

I get to see your face again
Creased by several years —
As one so like ago reminds me

Yes I knew your know and so
     This loop reminds me —
These simple spins more now then thens
That came but come like sudden back ahead

And for when and more and then
You gave and hold my dreams again
As you did
While all lifts up
Above aloft
For me from time that bends

Yes as I turn around once more and now
And see a face of almost you
     And made of when
May I wish or may I swirl
     From such a swing
     That is your smile
     That was my friend
