The Covert Narcissist, By: Stuart Bowen, Jr.

December 26, 2024 by Stuart Bowen, Jr.

The Covert Narcissist, By: Stuart Bowen, Jr.

Mean sullen mien trolling the room
eyes cold and empty broken alone
doing dark damage when nobody’s home
sends flying monkeys into the kill zone.
Surgical strikes smearing napalm
burning black eyes vengeance a balm
none understands the evil within
I never knew when it would begin.
Victim of victims her image divine
suddenly whispers morph into whines
label me loud unleashed uncontrolled
but stunting all life can quickly grow old.
All must bow down or suffer the strife
tongue lashing out cuts like a knife.
