It is dead. Find it—
Out of sound, out of sight.
“Happy?” Which is wiser,
Sun or the wind?
“Conscious?” Won’t you ask that
Of the low ground?
“Homesick?” Many met it—
Even through them, this
Cannot testify—
Themselves dumb.
